I am going to write a small indie film about being a 20-something
Here goes:
- BOY reading [SIGNIFIER] meets GIRL wearing [SIGNIFIER]
- BOY and GIRL talk about “local” [SIGNIFIER]s
- They become SOCIAL NETWORK friends
- Later on SOCIAL NETWORK, BOY sees that GIRL also digs [SIGNIFIER] and [SIGNIFIER] and plays his favorite song by [SIGNIFIER] and falls in love but then notices that GIRL is “it’s complicated” with DUDE
- So BOY arranges harebrained scheme to arrange [SIGNIFIER] and [SIGNIFIER] for GIRL while DUDE has [NEGATIVE SIGNIFIER] planted by BOY
- And GIRL comes home with BOY and he plays a vinyl of [SIGNIFIER] but his [SIGNIFIER]-laptop gives away his scheme and GIRL slaps BOY
- So BOY mopes to [SIGNIFIER]—MONTAGE—GIRL second-guesses DUDE
- So GIRL arranges harebrained scheme to arrange [SIGNIFIER] and [SIGNIFIER] for BOY in cognito, which is exactly the same thing the BOY is doing post-moping
- AWKWARD! BOTH FEEL STUPID! But [SIGNIFIER]!!! Both say something sappy but skewed and indie like “I’ll be your retard”/”And I’m your bicycle basket” EMBRACE!
