More You Know Edit: We have these vowels in English. Counterclockwise from /i/: beat, bit, bait, bet, (bat), bot, bought, boat, book, boot.
Look at this beaut! The computer lab’s XP/Word set-up kept butchering these IPA characters, so I went home and did my paper in LaTeX. To be fair, my Vista/Office 07 set-up renders the characters perfectly, but I need the PDF for portability.
