Tracy Bonham - Mother Mother
Last year I embarked on probably my dumbest hipster mission which was to compile every song played on MTV’s Daria. The idea stemmed from my nostalgic fondness for late-90’s radio-friendly alternative—“Lovefool”, “Your Woman” come to mind. Plus I was in middle school at the time, which mostly sucked except for Pokemon, Yahoo chat and popular music.
Anyway, some of the music is absolutely scuzzy post-grunge weirdo pop like this song, “Buzz Ballads”, Tonic or Dishwalla.
